In Your Face is an
outreach ministry here at The Pentecostals of Fort Worth.
Going out into the community on a bi-monthly basis with different
aspects of ministry. Some months we deliver bread and milk
to needy communities. Other months we take sack lunches down
to a local shelter to feed the homeless. Recent months we
hosted a "block party" for the apartment communities that we do
Bus Ministry in. What a great time of fun and fellowship we
have had while reaching out to the community and meeting needs.
Our most recent "In
Your Face" event was Sunday, December 17th. We hosted an
Adopt A Child program for all of the children who attend our
Church on a weekly basis. Sunday morning Pastor Watts had
the privilege of calling 78 names to come forward and receive a
$10 gift card to KB Toys. This did not even include
our Junior Youth and Intense Youth Student Ministries Classes.
But the fun did not
stop there as we most of those children on the bus and took them
to Ridgmar Mall and let them spend their $10 gift card. Now
that was fun! What joy we had watching children pick out
something they really wanted.
