"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal, it shall be measured to you again."

Luke 6:38

Faithful In Giving

Don’t allow the world to discourage you from giving to the kingdom of God. We continually come before God expecting him to give us what we need in this life. How can we in good conscience ask him to give to us when we do not give to Him?

The bible says it much more plainly:

Malachi 3:8-10 “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not

open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

Jesus spoke of paying tithes.

Luke 18:12. “I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.”

Genesis 28:22 “And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.”

Hebrews 7:2-4 “To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.”

God’s blessings are upon those who give to Him faithfully.
